Journal Staff Report
On December 16, 2010, a crowd of supporters and well-wishers gathered at the Paragon Restaurant to show support for 12-year old Frankie Shouldice and his family. Frankie is the son of SFPD Inspector Ronan Shouldice, and he is valiantly battling leukemia. The money that was raised -- $17,000 – will be used to help defray the medical expenses incurred by his devoted family.
Of course, one did not need to have been present at the raffle in order to donate to the “Friends of Frankie” fund. More donations are needed, and account #1373520 has been established at the SF Police Credit Union to accept your contributions. Contact Marty Halloran for further information at marty@sfpoa.org.
