For the second time in less than three months Mr. Campos has publically made negative statements regarding the rank and file of the S.F.P.D. and now he is attacking the elected leadership of the POA. I realize Mr. Campos is running for the State Assembly against POA endorsed President of the Board of Supervisors David Chiu but once again Mr. Campos is desperately trying to elicit votes on the backs of our members. Mr. Campos' actions will not go unanswered. I addressed all of Mr. Campos' inaccurate statements in a letter that will been reprinted in the June edition of the Journal. Copies of this letter have been forwarded to the President of the Board of Supervisors, the President of the San Francisco Police commission, and the Chief of Police.
