Multiple members have asked the POA to address their concerns about recent promotions for captain, lieutenant, and sergeant. Accordingly, the POA has requested that the Equal Employment Opportunity Division of the Department of Human Resources and the San Francisco Civil Service Commission investigate the promotions process. A copy of the letter is attached.
If any POA member has specific concerns regarding the promotions and would like to discuss them with the Executive Board and POA counsel, please come to the POA on February 2, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.
