Our brother, SFPD Officer Elia Lewin-Tankel, is now being treated at a rehabilitation facility for his traumatic head injury caused by a felon who deliberately targeted and attempted to murder Elia on October 18th. His recovery will be difficult and unforeseen costs surrounding his treatment are inevitable.
Elia’s brothers and sisters in the SFPD have rallied around him along with our supporters in the community. A fundraiser for Officer Lewin-Tankel will be held at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on November 29, 2017. Please stop by and show your support for Elia and his family.
