Since the horrific mass shooting in Las Vegas just over a week ago and the heartbreaking loss of Stacee Etcheber there has been a tremendous outpouring of support for SFPD Officer Vinnie Etcheber, his two children, and his entire family. Not only has our law enforcement family stepped up to help but the community at large has come forward to rally around the Etcheber family offering comfort and condolences.
Getting Stacee home yesterday from Las Vegas was comforting to the family. The San Francisco Police Officers Association offers our sincere thanks to the Henderson Police Department and their Traffic Division for their uniformed escort of Stacee from the mortuary to the Las Vegas airport (you can view the video above).
The POA is grateful to the Henderson Police Department for their professionalism and their assistance. But most of all we are grateful for the respect that they paid to Stacee and the Etcheber family.
